If You Weren't Hungry Before......

I recently photographed some booze and grub for my pal Alan Epstein at The Office in my old hood, Las CaƱitas. It's an expats food paradise. But it's not just expats that get a burger craving and these babies are the bomb! The chicken wings are spicy (not easy to find anything spicy in BA) and Ezequiel's cocktails are awesome. Searching for some good classic pub grub, look no further. If you just don't feel like leaving your couch call them up and BJ or Robin from Biking Buenos Aires will bike courier your food to you, with a complimentary bottle of Ya Ya Bean hot sauce (limited time offer). Respect.
Now I know you are wondering 'what on earth did they do with all the food and drink samples?' Yup, It's a tough life friends.

The BEST burger ever invented. Onion Rings, seriously?! Genius.

The Californian - My very close second favorite.

For those who have trouble making decisions.

Tough to find good wings in BA, hot wings almost impossible. These are both.

Alan says 'because sticks are just too cumbersome and hard to share'.

They make everything in house, even the tortillas.

My friend Liane would lose her mind over this.

If you know me, you know I'm obsessed with caesar salad and this ones goooooood!

The bartender, Ezequiel makes wicked cocktails!

We called this one 'The Iceberg'. Obvio.

Polo: Not for Chukkas!

My first Polo experience was at The Nations Cup 2011 - International Polo Series (Copa de las Naciones 2011 - Serie Internacional de Polo). Where has this been all my life?!? Why did it take me so long to become a fan!?! As you can imaging the experience was nothing short of incredible. People go bananas over Polo and now I understand why. Fast paced, heart pounding excitement from start to finish. Hoards of people young and old flock to the field to cheer on their team. The players are treated like rock stars and the traditional “after polo” where everyone mingles and drinks pink champagne is very civilized indeed! I’m hooked and I can’t wait for spring when the players saddle up their ponies again. I will be waiting, pink bubbles in hand.
